The Hydra was developed to demonstrate the effectiveness, reliability and safety of a fuel cell integrated in a boat. “DUBAI WATERFRONT” is a visionary project, revolutionary changing the appearance of Dubai as the most modern and exclusive city of the World, located at the Dubai Waterfront. An efficient infrastructure will require an efficient transportation system! The Hydra as a masterpiece of technology would further enhance an outstanding environment like “DUBAI WATERFRONT” and is especially recommendable due to the fact that it protects the environment by stabilizing the ecological balance, improving the quality of the water and guarding the privacy (The Palm & The World) from noise and smell! The highly profitable use of the first global fuel cell fleet in a prestigious ambience like “Dubai WATERFRONT” will create further positive awareness for investment in Dubai (an oil producing country to introduce the first clean energy fleet)!

The Production …First Steps

Since the Hydra is fully certified and developed, all components needed for production are available on the market. The requested documentation is available from GPS allowing immediate start of project. The design of the Hydra is user defined. The fuel cell system can be integrated with only small modifications in any standard boat design, also the existing design can be used. An experienced boat designer is available to support this implementation. A small series production in line with an existing boat production can be quickly achieved. A team of engineers can assemble the fuel cells locally for installation into the user designed boat. All personnel needed is available on short notice.

The fuel cell of the Hydra provides as much power as 50 square meters of solar collectors!! The speed of the Hydra depends on the size of the fuel cell and can be raised accordingly.
